Ringing Time

Most VoiceMail services have a menu that allows one to adjust basic things such as ring time; voice message etc. Apparently not with VM. How do I reduce the ringing time before Voicemail kicks in ... do I have to phone up, if so who as 150 appears to go thro' several robotic layers and got me nowhere. Regards, Murray

How many rings are you looking for before the voice mail kicks in  

If you can check the purple envelope top right of your screen that would be great

2/3 rings.

Occasionally I'd like to put it on immediate for, say, a week and then extend it on my return. Will I have to go thro' this process on here each time?

Isn't there a less interventionist, more automated, method?

Thanks for those details 

Sadly its only possible to change this way 

The other option is to remove the Voicemail completely 

Purchase a handset with built in Voice mail and set rings that way 

I will change the settings now for you

Will I be able to pick up messages from another phone as when I try - and enter * on answer - it doesn't seem to allow me to listen to messages?

You can listen to messages away from home

But it is only possible on the chargeable Voicemail plus 

Which is £2 month
