I’m a new customer (broadband, tv and tel) and got a text from virgin re transfer my home tel line
I need to reply to the text reply with “CHAT” but this message gets not delivered as I get the “message send failure” reply on every try …
I tried to get an answer using the online chat but to no avail

Sorry to hear you are unable to reach our team via text. We want to best help. Just to confirm, are you texting via +44753 305 1809? If so are you texting from a Virgin mobile or a non-Virgin mobile? Also, does this error only occur when texting us?

“Hello, it s Virgin Media. We re working on transferring your home phone number, but we need some more information. Please reply with CHAT then follow option 2 for Number Port when you're ready to start texting with us. Thanks”
when I reply to this text, there is a delivery failure

Does your phone package have any barring regarding certain numbers? This could be the reason why you are unable to text us.

I’ve never experienced problems sending texts to other numbers so I don’t think I’m barred from certain numbers
