Hi
Going to be starting the process of porting my home phone number from Vrigin to Sipgate - due to moving from a VM area to a non-VM area.
1) Do I need to let VM now this first - so not to reject the port authorty from the new provider (sipgate)?
2) whats the address to used for the current provideer eg Virgin Media's address?

Thanks for your post regarding the porting out of your number.
The easiest way to explain this is.
Both providers need to be active.
It can take around 14 days to carry over.
You will need to inform your new provider of the situation.
They will contact us to get permission to take the number.
You will also need to inform us that you are leaving and give 30 days notice.
