Original GPO rotary phone with Virgin Media Fibre Phone line

Hello

I have an original GPO phone from the 60's/70's in the attic I am thinking of getting down and converting it to have BT Plug on it so I can use it.  Will it work on virgin fibre phone service that comes through the Hub 4.0?  As I can't resist the retro charm.

You would need to do more than just fitting a BT plug AFAIK. You would need a conversion kit to convert the pulse dialling system of the phone to a tone dialling system for the hub. You would also need an adapter for the back of the hub with a ringing capacitor in it to make the bell ring.

Nice bit of nostalgia but more trouble than it's worth IMHO on a modern connection via a router!
