Number Porting Charges (Hit by an excessive charge)

notdodgy
Up to speed

As my volt bundle includes unlimited landline calls I decided to port my landline across.

The process has started however I have just received an invoice for £60 (£50 + Vat).

The existing provider did not charge line rental, just call charges at 1p a minute / 10p Mobile.

Has anyone else been hit by number porting charges?

Is this a charge that Virgin can help with?

All the best,

Kain

The saga continues.
After cancelling the port at the start of September, I have been advised my number port has been completed:

The telephone number 0121430xxxx has been exported.

Telephone Number:

0121430xxxx

Account:

24xxx

Completion Date:

25/10/2022

If there are any issues with inbound service they must be raised to the new provider.

As expected, there are issue with inbound service as the original port was cancelled.
