No dial tone

Our phone line also has no dial tone. I asked a friend to ring from her BT land line and it says “temporarily out of order”. We have a hub 4 but we’re connected via a traditional phone socket.

The status checker indicated a fault earlier but is now saying all is well.

Hi there @jimbo_I,

Thanks for your post.

I'm sorry to see you are having issues with your landline, are you able to unplug the connections then plug them back in to see if this makes any difference?

Regards

Nathan

Have checked with neighbours now and several of them are affected.

Yep have tried that now. Several people in the area seem affected.

Ah I see, thanks for checking.

It seems the area issue may not be fully resolved if multiple people are saying the same.

I'd keep an eye on the service page to see if this is updated again.

Let me know how you get on with this.

Regards

The line finally came back yesterday. It was disappointing that despite me setting up SMS updates for the new fault that appeared in the status checker, I didn’t receive a single text.

Hi @jimbo_l

Glad to hear the issue with the service has been resolved and I am very sorry you did not receive any status notifications.

I'll get this fedback.
