Landlines down, multiple lines in B97 Area failed, no dt's, and calling them from a mobile resulsts in call failed on mobile handset.

Hey ne, thank you for your post and for reaching out about this issue with your landline.
We're sorry to hear there are several landlines in your area which seem to be down at the minute, including yours.
Based on our checks, there is a new outage that has impacted the lines however we're currently aware and our engineers will work their best to have this restored as soon as they possibly can.
Please, keep checking on our service status page here for updates moving forwards as our field staff will send those live from the site shortly (or call our service status number 0800 561 0061 and get your updates from there).
We do not have a timeframe / estimate for the fixes yet but these may be short term issues that last no longer than 24 hours.
Once our engineers have assessed the problem, they will provide with an estimate for this to be restored too.

Have you also tried to call the service status number above?
Also, allow us to explain the updates on these outages may take a while to land on our page as the engineers dispatched will need to take time and assess the problem before they give us more info.

Thanks for checking, on our most recent check the area fault seems to have cleared out, at the minute.
Is the landline still down as we speak and do you have a dial tone?
Could you kindly monitor the line for up to 24 hours and let us know if the fault persists?

thats why i should be pm'ed to get address data, just to old persons at that location. still dead line. and fail to connect when called from mobile. ie not a local fault but cab fault.
