Landline

Hi,I had my landline installed yesterday and was given a new landline but on the day I ordered  the landline I asked for my number to be transferred from talktalk.Can someone help resolve this ?

I am sorry to hear that you have had some issues with getting your number ported over to us. 

 

Are you able to let me know a few things. 

 

  • Did you set up your account within the last 14 days? 
  • Is your landline still active with your previous provider?

Yes I set up my account in the last 14 days and my landline is still active with my previous provider until 5th March

Thank you for coming back to me. 

 

The reason I ask is because it normally takes 14 days for a number to port over to a new provider if this is the case we will give you a temporary number.

 

However, I just want to make sure that we have requested the port to happen, I am going to drop you a PM so that we are able to get some account information.
