We keep getting our landline ringing twice, then goes dead, then does it again twice more, shows no number on display, has happened a few times in the evening, the other week was near midnight, is this a test being done

Sorry to hear this keeps happening

This will more likely be a fault in the local exchange 

Sadly we do need to get an engineer out to fix it

I can arrange it from here though

If you can check the purple envelope top right of your screen that would be great
