Sorry to hear you've having a problem with your landline - how long has it been like this for? Have you been able to check the service status page; here to see if there are any outages in the area? You would also be able to run a test on the equipment also. If you're still having problems after that, just give me a shout 🙂

I actually spoke to a Virgin Media guy on the phone this afternoon and he said it was a call Barring issue that had been set up when we renewed our contract.
It sounds plausible. It has been like it since March and we changed the contract in March. I've only just got round to reporting it cos I've been using my mobile to make calls but it's silly paying money for a landline that I can only receive calls on.
