Virgin is charging me for landline rental every month - should that charge not have stopped after they switched my phone over to an internet connection a few weeks ago?

Hi there JambosTam,

Thanks for your post and welcome back to the community.

The line rental would still be valid as the number would still be registered with us with your designated call package that you have on your account.

Many thanks,

Kain

All you are using is a different piece of wire & a different transmission format. Your phone line still uses the same infrastructure it always used when it gets back to VMs local headend exchange.

VM 350BB 2xV6 & Landline. Freeview/Freesat HD, ASDA/Tesco PAYG Mobile. Cable customer since 1993
