Hi,
Our VM landline has stopped working in the past few days - when we pick up the phone there is a high pitched noise rather than a dial tone. When the number is called the phone does ring, but we get the same noise when it is picked up. The phone is directly into a wall socket, not via the hub.
I've gone through the service status checks, seemingly there are no known landline issues in our area. I've also tried a different handset but it has the same issue.

VM engineer attended today and identified there was a fault somewhere on the copper line. We have been switched across to a 21cv connection so all working again.
