Landline number not valid

My landline number is saying not valid when trying to ring in , it rings out ok and still has the right id number when calling a mobile for example,  but nobody can ring in

Hi your 2nd line engineer contacted me over a week ago but I've heard nothing since , I have been onto sky they were as useful as a chocolate teapot but say they have not blocked anything to VM , however I'm getting contacted by some contacts saying that they cannot get through either
