Landline number not ported over

I requested  my landline number to be ported over from Sky. I requested this at sign up and on the phone at a later date, an agent even gave me a reference number beginning with FOR. She said it should be done by today but a virgin engineer visited today and said he cant see any port request.

 

Please can someone help?
