Landline not working

I am a new customer trying to move my landline number from my old provider to VM. It has been over a month with the wrong number and today I found out my phone is not working. There is a dial tone but I cannot make or receive calls. How do I contact support with no phone?

And no I do not/will not have whatsapp.

(The live chat bot says it is busy. How does that happen? It is an automated system)

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing some problems with your line and porting your number over. 

 

I've had a look at things from our side and it does look like you're currently affected by an area outage. The estimated fix time for this is later today, we're just carrying out some final checks. 

 

So I can help in regards to the number port I'll need a few more details from you,  I've popped you over a private message for this (purple envelope, top right hand corner)

If there is an area outage, why does it not show on the service status page?

This states that there are no issues in my area.
