Landline not working since cable repull

Hi. Wondered if one of the forum team could assist with getting an engineer booked to look at our landline?

We had a cable re pull done to fix our broadband issues which worked a treat, but when they connected up to the property they said that they couldn’t do the phone connection. Not sure why. Since then, we’ve had no landline connection. Engaged tone when dialing in and no dial tone when dialing out. Is someone able to book an engineer to sort please? The help pages are less than helpful on the website.

can you see the cable they pulled - maybe as it goes into the external box - is it a twin cable if so then one carries the landline and it would look like they have not connected it in the box or the cabinet

if its just a single round cable then there is no phone cable so your land line cannot possibly work - you would need to get it switched over to connect to the hub
