Landline not working SR4

Landline (wall socket) has no tone etc and calls go straight to Virgin voicemail without ringing. (even though phone unit has built in answerphone) Have tried another handset yet same thing happens. Service check says no fault at present but cant even ring 150 to contact Virgin. All other services are working. Could someone from Virgin please advise.

Thanks for posting and sorry to hear you're having some issues with your landline. 

I've been able to take a look at things from our side and I'll need to arrange an engineer visit for you. I'll need a few details from you first so I've popped you over a private message (purple envelope, top right hand corner)
