Switched from Sky to virgin and now the landline isn’t receiving calls. Engaged tone heard when calling. Can make outgoing calls.
any suggestions please?

A warm welcome and thanks for posting on our community forums. We're sorry to hear that you have a permanent engaged tone when anyone is trying to call your landline.
We will need to investigate this matter further for you, but before we bring you in for a private chat, can we ask if you have been able to try and alternative handset in your hub?
Also, can we ask you to remove any extensions or equipment that you have attached to your line, for example, fax machines modems etc.
Once you have tried the above, please come back to me.

Ive tried all you suggested but wish to point out I only moved from Sky yesteryand the phone was working perfectly
