Landline is dead - can't make or receive calls

As above. Haven't been able to use the phone for a week. Virgin support has ben useless, keeps redirecting me to the troubleshooting section of the website

Can someone step in please

I'm very sorry to hear about the issue with your Landline service. 

I have taken a look on our side and I am unable to see anything that could be affecting this. 

To confirm, have you been able to try an alternative handset on the line?

Hi Martin, yes, I've tried another handset and it does the same. How do we get the line tested, or an engineer visit?

Yep, all fixed. The engineer switched us over to a digital line
