Landline hasn't been ported over

I wonder if someone can help me. I took over my father's virgin media account  but the old number hasn't been ported over. Initially I was told it would take 10 days but it's been whole month now. He's had the old number 40 years.

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing a delay with getting the number ported over.
