Landline Down LN6

I have a dial tone but can not receive incoming calls or make outgoing calls .I get a dial tone and it dials the number then goes dead or beeps constantly

Sorry to hear that your landline isn't working properly at the moment, there is a fault affecting telephone services in the Lincoln area where affected customers will experience a loss of connectivity.
