My home phone is in the Hall way. My virgin box is in the lounge
I also have a wired phone connection in the kitchen.

You use the adaptor to connect your home phone's base station to the back of the Virgin Media hub via the Hub's Tel port.
Your extension phone sockets will no longer work but you can request for a technician to come over and adjust the wiring so that the extension phone sockets connect to the Tel port on the back of the virgin media hub. Therefore enabling the use of the extension phone sockets again.

Over simplified (and probably rubbish) answer:
To get it up and running buy a cheapo extension lead and run it from the socket on your router in the Lounge. Plug the converter into the extension lead and the Hall phone.
Your Hall phone will then work, but the kitchen phone won't. If you switch your router off, neither will work.
With some considerable faffing about you can get wired phones to work. The link below gives more details.

Hi DK11, thanks for posting and welcome back to our community.
Sorry to hear your phone set up is inconvenient since the migration to 21CV. The answers in your previous threads do explain how to get at least one phone up and running. I would like to take a closer look on your behalf. I am going to send you a private message. Please look out for the purple envelope in the top right of your screen.
Regards
