Land line not working for 4 weeks in N8

I am in N8 area of London and have had no landline for about 4 weeks.  I have had an engineer at my home who told me the issue was outside the property (caused by fire at the exchange) and would be fixed by another engineer on another visit.  Despite repeated calls and further appointment arranged the issue is still not fixed.  

Please advise when I can expect the landline to be fixed?
