When I call out, if the person picks up, the connection is dropped almost immediately. When someone calls the phone does not connect but I get the 'calling' tone.
I have been through the problem-solving process with the (Indian?) call centre (via my mobile) and although he was very thorough with his checks he could not find any fault on the line. He suggested trying a different handset which I have since done, but still the same problem.
Can you help take me to the next stage please?

I'm so sorry to hear you're having some issues with your landline, I can appreciate how frustrating this must be and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
