Hi All,
As the title says: I'm just curious here, having read a LOT about home phones.
My phone is plugged into an Openreach NTE5 Master Socket. VM just unhooked the original BT line and placed their cable in the same socket. Sooo, I keep reading a lot about the lines being changed, presumably connecting the phone to the back of the Hub ?
So is it something that is happening to all landlines, and if so I assume I'll be told when (and how) to change ? ... As I said, just curious ... It makes little difference to me as the landline is never used. The last time it rang Marconi was asking if I'd take part in a survey about horseless carriages.

Thanks @goslow
Much appreciated ... So no doubt someone will drop me a line, (no pun intended) when I'm supposed to plug the phone into the Hub.
Cheers Sir.

Some aspects of the 'upgrade' are debateable.
