Interference on phone line

This is my first post so hope someone can help

When making or receiving calls when either person speaks we are unable to make the conversation out as there is a lot of crackling and interference on the line....I have used the Virgin Media service status and this didn’t reveal any issues....I have also tried a different phone in the socket but the cracking and interference is still there.

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing some issues with the telephone service. 

 

It sounds like you have ran through some checks already but could you please confirm if the cables leading to the handset are all secure and without damage?

The phones have not been moved and everything seems ok and not damaged

I have ran a check from our side and can confirm there are no current outages in your area that could be causing this issue.

With this being the case, I have gone ahead and booked you a visit from our technical team. 

 

You can view/amend/cancel this appointment by visiting your online account here

 

We will also pop you over a text to confirm the appointment at least 24 hour prior 🙂

Many thanks for all your help Natalie....Hopefully the engineer will be able to resolve the issue.....I’ve visited my online account to 

view the appointment you’ve made for me but I can’t find it....Can you let me know where to look?
