Incoming calls

After receiving incoming calls the phone rings again anywhere from a few minutes to hours later. When you dial 1471 the caller details are those of the original incoming call. Not getting much reponse from Virgin.

Is your telephone connected to a Hub 5 ?

Not sure, its an issue at work.

If your problem is on a Virgin Media Business connection at your place of work, the VM forum staff here won't be able to help you as this forum is for residential services only.

You may possibly get some suggestions about what the problem might be but, if you are a VMB customer at work, the only way to investigate/change/fix anything will be via VMB

and report the fault.

The fault has been reported, it has been ongoing since installation. repeatedly spoken to VMB. I was just reaching out in the hope that someone may have come across the same. 

 

If it is a Virgin Media Hub 5 their is a known issue with Ghost Calls (spam calls), depending on the phone there can be a bell tinkle sound or the appearance of a missed call and no number shown for the missed call.

If your phone is connected to a telephone wall socket that is a different fault / issue.

If the phone is connected to a VM Business HITRON Hub / Router, that is where this residential forum is going to struggle as we very few business members with that type of kit.

thank you for the reply, any help at this stage is much appreciated. As virgin claim they've never heard of this before. 🤔 And even closed the fault ticket without it being rectified.
