Thanks for the reply. No other equipment arrived withe the adapter & the adapter was fitted correctly. I even tried my neighbours adapter & phone in my hub with the same result, no dial tone

Can you please confirm if you've attempted a pin hole reset on the hub to see if once this hub has completed it's reboot, then checked the phone line to see if a dial tone can be achieved?
When working with the neighbour, did you also try their handset, to rule out a fault with the handset you're using?
