Home phone not accepting incoming calls or letting me ring out. WV14 9UR. No dialling tone when phone lifted from base. Any suggestions? Phone test by Virgin came back "inconclusive result"

Sorry to hear you are unable to make or receive calls on your landline. We can understand your concern and we want to best help. How long has this issue been ongoing? Have you checked your phone connections to see if they are secure? Have you also checked here to see if this may be caused by a local fault? virg.in/service

Hi.thanks for the prompt reply. Not sure how long this has been going on - last use was Monday 2nd August.?. Connections seem OK and service status says no problems. On running a test of the line says inconclusive result.

Just to confirm is your landline connected via your hub or via wall connection? Also are you having issues with any other services?

Landline through wall connection. TV and broadband unaffected.
