Home phone no dial tone

Hi, we recently got a new virgin media hub. And then our home phone connected to the wall socket stopped working. So, I plugged it into the hub but still no luck. No dial tone. Any help?

I'm very sorry to hear about the issue you had with your landline.

To confirm, did you try the handset in the master socket?

Have you been able to try an alternative handset?

Yes, already tried another phone in the wall socket. But no luck.

We have a binatone wireless phone and never had any problem with it before.

Thank you for that information. We may need to book a technician in to investigate this.
