Hi, my Virgin home phone has horrific crackling on the line, so bad that I am unable to make a call. It's plugged into the convential wall socket. I tried a normal non cordless phone and today bought new cordless phones. Unfortunately, the crackling is still there and has been for several weeks. I am an old age pensioner and currently out of contact, as I don't get a Virgin mobile phone signal within my home. Hope you are able to come up with a speedy resolution. Thanks.

I can imagine how much of a burden this is and we do need to get this fixed
I will need to take a look and book an engineer to come out
But to do that, I need to pass security first
If you can check the purple envelope top right of your screen that would be great

The engineer came out, identified the fault and carried out the necessary repair.
I can now hear clearly again.
