We have had a very loud crackling noise on the landline for almost two weeks now. It improved slightly but is now worse than ever. I've checked all the usual things inside (phones, connections etc) and all seems to be fine.
I have tried ringing the helpline several times, going through all the options but at the end nothing happens and the call is terminated. I'm having to use my mobile for this as I cannot hear anything clearly on the landline.
As we are elderly with hearing difficulties and rely on the landline for medical appointments, this is getting extremely difficult. It seems impossible to speak to a person or get anyone to look at the line.
Can anyone help please ?
