Currently having check phone line messages on my phone. There is no issue in the area.

I'm sorry to hear of the issues you're having with the phone line, can you confirm if you have a dial tone currently?
I understand your local area has switched over to a router based phone line, can you possibly try rebooting, or even resetting the hub to see if this improves the landline services?
Have you also attempted to use an different handset on the landline service?
