Caller display

Hi

We’re helping our friend set up his new phone this Friday, to help him get rid of endless nuisance calls.

We know that the this ‘BT advanced phone’ needs to have caller display. Can anyone tell me whether this is something that can be done straight away or requires an engineer to come to his house?

Thank you

Hi Kat531,

Thanks for posting and welcome to our community 🙂

Caller Display is something we can switch on from our side, he just needs to let us know when speaking over the phone 🙂

It is also possible that the BT advanced phone may not be reading the caller ID on the VM line (there have been past posts on this, inc this recent one)

Are you able to try a different (non BT) phone in the line and see if caller ID is present (you would then know if it was missing, or present but not working with the BT advanced phone)

Thank you - an easy sort then

Thank you @Kat531

Please do let us know if they are able to add the caller display.

Thanks again.

Thanks - it was easy and works fine

Glad to hear this @Kat532

Hope you have a lovely weekend 😄
