Caller I.D. not working
About a week ago I rang VM and requested ‘call reject’ in the hope that it would stop the avalanche of nuisance calls we were receiving
Almost immediately I realised this was not working. Caller reject simply stopped calls from withheld numbers.
The problem was this also caused ‘Caller I.D. To stop working. Instead all we received was ‘incoming call’
I have telephoned V.M. everyday since then, sometimes three or four times a day requesting ‘caller reject’ be turn off and ‘caller I.D. Re-instated.
Each time a very helpful call handler tells me they will fix the problem. A few minutes later they come back to me and tell me it’s all fixed.
But it’s not. The problem persists. I have tried my phone in a friends house and it works perfectly. Caller I.D. has worked perfectly for me for many years.
I am currently in a queue to on the phone to register a complaint.

I am sorry to hear that you have had some issues with your landline.
Have you managed to get though to the team via the phone?
