I'm about to sign up to Virgin and website and sales line have confirmed I live in a fibre area, so the phone line will be a 21CV VoIP running over the fibre connection.
Am I correct in thinking that this is just a standard SIP connection?
As I already have VoIP phones over my house, is it possible to get the SIP login details so I can connect up directly on my own existing equipment rather than using the VM Hub 3 VoIP ports?
It appears you can do this with a business account, but I can't find any confirmation either way about residential accounts.
Does anybody know for sure? I've spoken to sales who have put me through to .some kind of support line. One person said Yes, another said No. To be honest I don't really think either of them really understood the problem.
