Re: ping issue

There is no published schedule that I know of.

It will arrive in due course, and I read somewhere on these Forums, they target 10,000 users at a time.?

Not what you want to hear of course ......

Re: ping issue

Given VM's premium pricing and third world customer service and support via 150, I can understand that you'd consider swapping.  But if your only beef is the Hub 3 ping issue, hang on in there, you're probably only looking at a month or so, then decide if you want to move on.  I'd say phone up the customer retention people and tell them you're leaving because the price is too high, plus the ping issue, and you might get an interesting offer to stay.

Re: ping issue

If he's only on 100/5 and moving to a possible 80/20 for gaming, then VDSL is better.  VM will never compete with a good VDSL line for latency.

It depends on distance of course with VDSL, as mine is around 68/18 but the TBB graph has far lower maximum latency than my VM 100/5 TBB

That.

Although personally Id go direct to BT as SKY have decreased their service contract with Openreach.

Online gamers=VDSL

VM are great for a phat down pipe, provided you have your own router to manage it WAN side but VDSL will always be better for latency. Plus VM's peering sucks.
