help with my BQM packet loss

 does this bqm look okay and or can somebody help with what’s going on with my packet loss issues I get it in both games I play online any help would be great and thank you in advance 

 

ps I’ve also got a engineer coming Tomorrow is there anything base on this bqm I can tell him ?

Can you post a photo of the taped up wires?  It will help VM assess the issue and hopefully get it fixed properly.

That isn't even bad packet loss, mine is red for an entire day (like today) about 1-5% lol.

 

As for letting an Engineer know, probably not, they usually have max IQ of about 80 and know very little/if anything at all. 

 

When I did get my issue temporarily fixed in 2020, the one engineer that located the issue said the packet loss was caused by noise on the line, however, compared to your tiny few dots, I got it all day, everyday, so not convinced your packet loss is an issue here..

It’s so bad though don’t understand why it’s not as bad there as what it normally is but still can’t play games proper when I was with sky never had a single problem with any packet loss at all When I was installed the engineer did say something about my wire outside being cut to short so maybe that’s my problem I’ve asked them to rewire it see if that fix’s my problem maybe he couldn’t get the connector on proper as he did put tape round it too 😂😂 just want it fixed I’ll run another bqm tomorrow as I’m guessing it will get bad again then it’s normally bad all week

Hi thanks for replie I think it might be fixed now fingers crossed the wires that was taped up when the engineer check them today the copper wire that runs in the cable was all black he’s replace all the wire and so far it’s seems okay hopefully it’s sorted now 

Spoken way to soon I am getting packet loss again 🤬🤬

😂😂😂 maybe it’s cause he had to lend some of next doors wire and split it into 2 because mine is totally had it and by time he was done cutting it to where it could be used it was to short to get a connection on it I mean I’m not gonna lie and say he’s not made it any better because he actually has a little bit but still getting packet loss never the less just have to ask the question why have this top of the range BB if it’s not even capable of doing what it says on the tin and have bad customer feed back don’t make sense just not sure what to do next 😕

I've been on at them since 2020, all I can say is persist, don't let them tell you over the phone to do pinhole resets and turning your router on and off.

 

Don't let them send ANOTHER engineer of low IQ around, say you want a specialist (they've done this for me, also had low IQ). Just persist, nonstop. Do not give in, don't even let it stress you, accept it for what it is and keep going, eventually it'll get sorted. Even if they say theres nothing more we can do, call, get on the live chat, open complaints, do everything and don't stop.

 

They need to be held accountable.

Yeah I mean I wouldn’t mind if I was paying penny’s and it was a basic BB but when I’m on gig1 and paying what I am every month I think it needs to be right ive been here 5 years now so I know the cable is at least 6 years old at least so how old is it actually maybe it needs a complete rewire witch I’m guessing virgin won’t wanna do because it involves digging ect but they shouldn’t offer a package they can’t provide I guess

just very annoying dieing in games because 8 out of my 10 shots was delayed and I was on 100% target 😂 it also buffers some times streaming movies ect but not as bad with movies tbh just the gaming side of things what I actually got the package for
