constant lag spikes and timeouts on hops

upload when its running properly is around 35mb/s on speed tests in this one its only reaching 9mb/s which was done today around 18:10pm. Also noticing at times web pages load slow or not at all for several seconds then decides to load. So there is something wrong with the connection.

This tracert is not good but has definitely been worse quite often.

Your upstream power is very slightly too high, only by a tiny amount though. VM will reply within a day or two and arrange an engineer to correct this, if they think it's necessary.

Don't worry about the timeouts, they are normal on all ISPs. It simply means that server has been set not to respond to ping requests.

Everything isn't fine, if you look at the thinkbroadband graphs over the last few days there is quite a number of dropped packets lasting for hours.

Can I ask, are you using the hub in modem mode? If so, can you revert back to our router and see if you get the same issues?

Hi John

Same issues, already tried back and forth. If anything having the hub in modem mode improved the connection slightly as its usually worse when not.
