Just wondering why my xbox is saying learn about it?

I've never read into it in much detail, but the gist I got was IPv4 addresses are running out, so IPv6 is the new standard to deal with this, as well as other improvements over IPv4.

It's just the next generation of IP addressing.  IPv6 will allow billions of IP addresses to be allocated.  VM UK are unfortunately behind in the implementation of IPv6.  It also allows XBox Live to work without having to setup Port Forwarding rules  😉
