While I'd love to try that, I'm not in a position to go get one. Bar the fact I shouldn't have to be supplementing provided equipment to achieve the "expected" service levels I pay for already. If I wanted to eek out that last bit of performance for the purest gaming experience, sure I'd dump a Nighthawk in front of my cable modem...... but lets be honest, I'm not going pro in Rocket League in this life.

Please login to the Virgin Media App through a phone if your still on a SH1 its possible you will see a message regarding a FREE upgrade to the hub3.

if not you can request a hub3 for a one off cost £20 and £5 postage fees

He has a fault with his VM service, with the Hub and/or the local connection.

He should not be paying one penny to have it put right by VM

I'm not blaming the hub for everything but no matter which way - free or payed - he needs to be on the hub3 if this person isnt going to buy a third party router. just to bring him more in spec.

Yeah I understand what you're saying, but I won't be paying a penny more for a service which should be supplied and working with the correct equipment. Yes I'm not a premium Vivid customer, but I think my money is good all the same.
