Port forwarding troubleshooting

Hi,

I don't want to make this post too complicated so i'll go ahead and state the problem and what I've checked and tried.

I was trying to port forward port 7777 - it didn't work.

I've port forwarded 25565 before for a minecraft server including firewall rules, it worked fine.

The service I'm using for 7777 also has an option to automatically port forward on starting, the first time I used it it worked fine.

Oddly enough this has stopped working since my internet on my PC suddenly stopped working the other day. Was still working on every other device but just stopped on my PC and started working again after I restarted.

I've double checked firewall rules for 7777, created the rule in hub 3.0 settings, tried DMZ, none of these have worked.

I'm only assuming that the time my internet stopped working and I restarted, something internal reset, but I'm out of ideas of what to check.

Also on running netstat -a | find “7777” (with the service running), it just returns TCP 0.0.0.0:7777 DESKTOP-9V50UQ9:0 LISTENING

Thanks,

Mitchell

look at getting your own router with 1Gb ports and put hub in modem mode.
