Maybe call Virgin up and tell them you're thinking about leaving. When they ask why, just tell them service is intermittent at best.

I've been gone for a while, just bought an Archer C7 router an the bqm looks way more consistent. Ping doesn't spike every few seconds.
However, my upstream power levels have risen by 2 dBmV on all channels, since the last engineer's visit and I'm receiving T3 Timeouts resulting in packet loss. Can I get some help?
