Well this is interesting, there's an even newer firmware update coming which will add 'Smart Wifi' to the SH3 -

Surely this would be a continuation of .608 so would contain the Puma fix also? I asked the guy on Virgin chat (for a laugh) to see if he knew anything about it and he said it's being 'released November 27th'. I'm sure these guys just throw darts at a nearby calendar to troll customers.

Hell has actually frozen over, .608 has finally arrived! Hard reset the Hub today and there it was; area 20 for anyone wondering.

The Puma 6 test over at DSLReports has gone from 50%+ red and half the readings at 100-200ms ping to this;

Will add:

Area 15

router in modem mode and the update was applied and killed my internet connection (i know as i was out and my hive stuff went offline). When i got home i restarted the hub3 and the update was present. Not exactly seemless but at least i have it now.

Ok so now its out to most people give it some time for them to collect data and well find out if it actually helped.

This firmware wont fix the slow tech inside the hub3 - that's a waiting game now for the hub4 😞
