I've been experiencing high lag, button delay, teleporting and disconnections within these games for the past week to ten days or so. Haven't had the problem before with Virgin.
My V6 box and download/streaming on my laptop is working fine, so its only online gaming through a wired connection that is causing an issue.
Any help would be appreciated, i'm not too tech savvy but can have a go at some things!

Hey! I've been noticing it too over the past week or so. I tried ringing them up and they said its being fixed and its a very complex issue in the area.
My choke is insane at the moment and there is nothing we can do just have to wait it out I guess.

Just wanted to tag onto this topic as I've been seeing the same issues since 2 weeks ago.
Everything has been running fine before, but now I had "severe" packet loss which is mostly noticeable in twitch streams and games.

This is postcode N7, area 15 I think.

Seems like it’s an issue in our area, the timeframe for the issues is the same as yours that I’ve been experiencing.
