Re: Hub 3 / Compal CH7465-LG (TG2492LG) and CGNV4 Latency Cause

Only if it was a NMS(typical Triallist push) as opposed to standard (production TFTP via config pull).

Area 04 200 Mb and I've got the update - although it's screwed the Hub user interface, with only the left hand side of the menu showing, and the content pane just displaying the ticking circle forever.   A restart hasn't fixed that but I haven't had the chance to do a full reset yet.

Re: Hub 3 / Compal CH7465-LG (TG2492LG) and CGNV4 Latency Cause

After my 350 upgrade and new firmware I couldn’t achieve the full whack during a Speedtest other than one time in safe mode (other attempts in safe mode range from 120mb to 220mb). OVerall averaging at 243mbps. Upload was constantly 21-24mb and ping at 6. This is all with just one computer connected to the router via Ethernet, no wireless connections.

I was on the phone to tech for about two hours whilst they tweaked the router to death. I’m now booked into a call with the senior broadband specialist on Friday. Apparently only he has the power to issue a superhub 2.0 so hopefully he can fix the speed issue or give me a different router.

... and resetting the router didn’t rollback the firmware

Re: Hub 3 / Compal CH7465-LG (TG2492LG) and CGNV4 Latency Cause

So I tried this router ASUS RT-AC86U Wi-Fi AC2900 USB 3.0 Router and SH3 in modem mode, with new firmware, 350Mbit, and the wifi speed was crap.

With my devices close to the router(50cm, same room) I wasnt even getting full wifi speed which for me is about 388Mbit. I'm returning this router and need to try another one which can actually do full wifi speed in the same room, but I heard the "modem" mode may be causing it ?

Any suggestions ?

Re: Hub 3 / Compal CH7465-LG (TG2492LG) and CGNV4 Latency Cause

I just got the Netgear nighthawk r7000 ac1900 literally yesterday and I've now got it up and running with the sh3 in modem mode, at first I was really baffled cos the WiFi speed was crap , for some reason the WiFi was maxing out at 40mb download and I thought oh here we go , I'm another sufferer of the modem mode slow speed situation. I went into the Netgear menu and done all the updates I could, I plugged in my laptop by ethernet and tested this speedtest.net tab which is in the router settings itself interestingly , got max speed of 220mb which is bang on for my connection, then done regulate speed test on the website and got the same , I checked throughout the day and I don't know what changed but now I get the fastest WiFi speeds I have seen period maxing out pretty much and even the far end of the house I get 40-50mb through the thick walls so very impressed. Very easy to set up by the way, was running through the sh3 in a few minutes.
