Since we're experiencing problems with GTA 5, I'm looking into upgrade choices for my girlfriend's laptop (see previous post)
Is the problem more likely to be caused by the 8GB of RAM or the 5400RPM HDD? Both upgrades are around the same price, and we don't have a lot of cash to spare, so we don't want to waste it.

If your Broadband circuit is not working correctly, neither of these upgrades will fix it. You need to post the stats from the Hub, and setup a BQM for comment.

Hi @luffy77
Welcome to the community!
Are you just having issue with playing GTA 5? Any other issues with broadband?
There's a lot of things you can try before you purchase more. Is it just stuttering? What laptop you got and what OS are you running? Do you have anything running in the background? Have you tried lowering the settings to see if that helps?
I don't play on PC but heard through the grapevine that 8gb ram isn't enough to play with max out settings.
Let us know how you get on or if you found a fix on other forums. ~CS~
