Hi,
I have fiber optic m200 package. My in game experience is extremely laggy and has been laggy for the past 4/5 months.
My upload/download speeds are fine, I just get really high ping (50-150) when in game which makes it impossible to play.
It was suggested to post a traceroute to fortnite (Epic Game) servers:

Can anyone see anything from the above?
I've also contacted virgin over the phone and the rep said there is a known fault in my area that may be affecting me, however this should be resolved by the 15th February. - To be honest this sounds like a generic response that just so happens to be fixing a fault within 2 days of me calling about an issue i've had for 5 months.
I have been connected to my PC via ethernet all the time while experiencing these issues.
I dont think there is anything I can change in my house.. only obvious possibility that I can think of is utilization issues in my area which is causing ping/latency issues?
If it is utilisation issue, then what is the solution?

Good to hear your problem has been solved. However your US power levels as above are too low. Range is 34 to 51, so it would do no harm to get a VM technician to fix this.
If you wait here a day or two a VM Mod will pick this up.

You need to setup a BQM to monitor and record the status of your circuit. www.thinkbroadband.com/ping
Also post your power levels and network log from the Hub. Once done we can comment.
As for utilisation, lets see the BQM before commenting.

Thanks for the reply. I've included BQM and my upstream/downstream/config log. I hope this will provide some insight into my high ping/latency problems

Thanks for the exit lag suggestion - they sound like a good prop company - hopefully i'll be able to find a solution otherwise exit lag may have to be purchased 😞

EDIT:
I bought an Xbox series S and my lag has COMPLETE gone away and my ping/network stats look the same as they did on my PC.
This means the problem lies with my PC (16gb Ram, RTX 3060 12gb, i7 CPU 10700k, 600w psu) and all drivers are updated (I’m a programmer so would like to think I’m able to find the correct version).
I suspect the issue is FPS and not my ping so the issue most likely lies with my graphics card and after searching the NVDIA forums, these FPS drops have been known for YEARS!
I will replace my graphics card which should improve my PC gameplay. In the mean time, I’m sticking with my new Xbox series x and sadly gonna use my PC for work strictly - annoying has I could have just bought the new M1 Mac **bleep**.
tldr: If you’ve tried everything to fix your connection and you play PC gaming then you are being scammed ( most likely by your graphics card.
If you’re really into gaming stick with gaming consoles as they are specifically designed for video games and the synergy between the components can never compare with pc gaming.
