FFXIV constant 1-2 second lag spikes

Hello,

We recently got sent a super hub 4 to upgrade from a super hub 3. Speed test wise and everything seems fine and what it should be.
However since the upgrade I am endlessly experiencing 1-2 second lag spike delays in FFXIV and other games. The game will freeze for 1 to 2 seconds, along with other people around me. It will then do a quick speed up where everything moves fast to catch it up again.
I am connected via an ethernet cable, and the problem only started since I got this new hub we where told we "had" to have.

Can someone please advise how to fix this? it is getting incredibly annoying.

Many thanks,

Hello @whiteglint,

Welcome back! Thanks for posting.

I am sorry to see that your having issues with your new Hub.

Have you set up a BMQ chart to show these dropouts?

Many thanks,

No doubt they'll come back and say it's FFXIV's servers.

I'm not on VM and FFXIV is fine so it's VM isolated issue.

Hi whiteglint, is it just FFXIV you're having issues with specifically, or other games/services too?

I wasn't able to run any checks using your forum info alone on this occasion, if you get back to me via PM (the purple envelope icon) we'll be able to look further into this for you.
