Constant lag spikes on online game ps4

I'm fed up with this I'm getting 1.6 to 13.6mb download and constantly lagging in games I never had this problem with super hub 2 but this super hub 3 is terrible does anyone know how to fix these problems please ?

Yes we know the SH3 is useless compared to the SH2. 

Yes VM know, Its been going on for years. Latest firmware fixes a lot of issues.

Yes there are loads of posts on this subject. So lets start another one.

Is your PS4 Wired or Wireless ???

 

Myself have no Issues with Lag on my PS4 Pro on the 5GHz Wifi, but then again I use the SH3 in modem mode, and my own router.

Running on 350Mb VM service with SH3 in Modem Mode, with a ASUS RT-AC5300 router. With this setup I get Fantastic WIRED and WIRELESS Signals in my home. I dont work for VM. But I work in IT, and I know my tech.
My advice is at your own risk.

Please login to the Modem with a browser - 192.168.0.1

1: Change the Wifi Name's for 2.4ghz and 5.0ghz (You can use the same passwords)
Advanced Settings -> Wireless -> Security

2. Tick Disable Channel Optimization -> Photo of router Wifi setup can be seen on the first post on this thread:

3: Make sure the Devices are connecting to 2.4ghz if they are the other side of the house or upstairs. 5ghz if in the same room as modem.

 Thanks for getting in touch. I am sorry to see you have had trouble with your connection.

 

I have taken a look and things seem to be ok from this side although I am missing some parameters. It may help to try the following so we can rule some things out:

 

Pop the hub into Modem Mode with the computer in Safe Mode with Networking at different times of the day.

 

Try on separate devices.

 

Check Ethernet cable. Make sure it is new / up to date. (Cat 5e or above).

 

Make sure device is capable of agreed speed.

 

Check wireless card slide.

 

Also I am having a little trouble locating your power levels please pop the detail across so we can investigate further:

 

192.168.0.1 in the browser, log in  Username is admin and the password will be changeme, unless you have changed it.

Go to Advanced settings.

Go to Network Status, copy the results back here.
